Photograph taken looking down at a pair of opened mussels shells in the shape of a heart on a sandy beach. The shells are pale grey and deep brown. The sand is dark beige and mid-brown, some areas smooth whilst others are scuffed. Image was taken at New Brighton beach on the junction of the River Mersey and the Irish Sea. Lovely beach with a dramatic lighthouse and passing river traffic to watch. Worked out of Liverpool sometimes and the office had a great view of the river. Once saw the disassembled legs of what looked like an oil rig being transported slowly by boat up the river. Quite distracting! Great city, amazing people and generally a lovely part of the world.
