My first UNIX workstation as an Assist Professor was a Sun UltraSPARC (1999). Had it on my desk next to my Windows box. I learned UNIX on an IBM RS6000 running AIX as a grad student in the mid-1990s. I had also used Sun for some classes. Much preferred SunOS. #retrocomputing #SunOS #IBMAIX
