Paste SVGs directly into Blender. Design in your favourite vector app, copy as SVG, and paste into Blender as Grease Pencil, Curves, Text or Images.

I've finally released ToothPaste for Blender (V1.1.0) that supports pasting SVGs as Grease Pencil.

Cool thing is that they retain most of their vector properties: colours, masks, and general artwork structure is all in there.
