How will we get new programming seniors if AI is meant to "replace" juniors?
Bernie is named and shamed endlessly for not showing absolute fealty to the Democratic candidate, but Cuomo can literally have a full-on attack campaign against Zohran without anyone in the Democratic party batting an eye.
Whenever a leftist loses, they're asked to endorse the Democratic candidate to avoid "splitting the vote". But Cuomo, who lost in the primary, is in fact encouraged by the Democratic establishment to keep running beside Zohran.
nothing will ever beat the thrill and energy of getting a product in the hands of users
Update! He apologized, and I'm really happy about his statement. Very well done, this makes me respect him a lot more: twitter.com/3kliksphilip...
YouTube comments screenshot in 3kliksphillip video, all negative and bringing up genuine points.
Literally on every AI video he's made, his audience and fans are upset and feel cheated. His transphobic outburst isn't just hate, it's immature deflection and that's just sad. Shoving AI slop into your type of content is just not practical, sorry dude.
i mean, if it was something that genuinely enhanced the videos, then maybe there's a point. but without a doubt, i have not seen his use of AI do anything but diminish the quality. it was the beginning of the end when i had to watch that all AI horrid counter strike fantasy story video he made.
i really liked klik back in the day. his videos were always interesting and engaging (somehow, even though he didn't use AI pictures every 3 seconds), and he always had a cool head even when the communities he was involved in didn't. it really sucks to see him deteriorate like this over AI no less.
but we shouldn't be surprised. this guy thinks JK Rowling is acting in good faith, denies Brianna Ghey's murder was a hate crime, doesn't see the problem with using AI slop, posted some really weird and creepy stuff about his ex and women in general on his public YouTube channel
it's kinda wild to me that 3kliksphillip would transvestigate and cherry-pick random women on a post with like 10 likes. these people will do to justify targeting a specific group because of their hatred.
I think this will dangerously bloat up projects and lead them to fail disastrously in the future.
This is my main issue with all the AI programming stuff: not because you can't consult it sometimes, but because it's advertising coders to do a completely different 24/7 typing style of programming.
I think a lot of people miss the fact that most of programming is thinking. I have my most productive hours of the day walking around in the park and just thinking on a design to solve a problem.
Launched the first major update for my TF2 mod! teamcomtress.com
The message isn't what's wrong with this, it's the context. You chose to employ it here, and not the countless other times violence has been used in our world.
It is literally a public group where people interested in the workshop can ask questions. It's the equivalent of a study group or book club! Maybe being interested leads you to joining that group anyway? Or getting help from experienced members helps you make better items?
If being in that Steam Group / Discord server really did significantly increase your chances of acceptance automatically, then you can just join it? It's completely open for anyone to join!
Seeing people point to a workshopper with accepted content merely being in a Steam Group or a Discord server and conclude that there is a shadowy organized cabal affecting the acceptance of items is beyond hilarious.
The thing I don't understand about TF2 Emporium hate is that it's literally just a community for workshoppers. Of course most workshoppers are gonna be on there. It's like complaining that a lot of scientific articles are submitted to Nature!
I will continue to submit fixes to Valve, but this is a great way to provide players with a better experience sooner. It also helps to test and evaluate the changes, and show their value in real gameplay. Think of it as an unofficial beta of some sort!
Got a beta website up for my TF2 mod! staging.mastercomfig-site.pages.dev/tc2/
wow, browsing bsky today proved very nice! im really happy with how this community is growing!
Some charm shenanigans before I start promos & bugging other people to make charms.

If you don't NEED notifications for an app or service, disable them.
If you need them for a time (e.g. waiting for a delivery), enable them only temporarily, disable them afterwards.
It definitely sucks that all this much anticipated and passionate work is at a standstill, but I don't see an obligation for Valve to give up on protecting their IP, nor how this is turning their back on their consistent history of supporting modding.
This is a totally expected result from them, and in any case, fans will see some sort of faithful recreation of classic Counter-Strike from the community, either through a Source SDK version (CS: Legacy), or if Valve decides to make a custom game system for CS2 like Dota 2.
