The fun things you discover in #VRchat 😄 [#VisionOS #ALVR]

I finally got No Man's Sky to work in #VR on my #pc, only to find that the bleemin' ship controls are totally borked, doesn't matter if i use #VirtualDesktop, #Steamlink, or even #ALVR.

Anybody here playing it on PC that cares to share notes?

I tried SkyrimVR the first time since I left Windows behind, and whoa, I'm impressed! 🤩 Configuring it with the open sourcce ALVR launcher was more straightforward than with Meta's own app. The connection feels more error-proof too.

…Even the @minisforum.bsky.social #EM680 is capable running “The Last of Us 2: Remastered” at 45-60fps at 1920x1080 while viewing in the @xreal-global.bsky.social 1st gen glasses (sadly Decky XR doesn’t work with #SteamOS 3.8) & even tested #ALVR and #SteamVR w. #Aircar.

#ALVR is noticeably better than #virtualdesktop for #Quest3 #VR / #vrchat - VD constantly lags every 10-15 seconds while ALVR not only works, but does so at a higher bitrate.
