I am quite positively surprised how much faster #UnrealEngine scripting in #AngelScript is, compared to #Blueprint.

Also, it's was more readable than both, Blueprint and C++, so I think it's an alternative worth checking out.

The only drawback I see up to now is that it needs its own Engine […]

Creating a new #UE5 project from source (Hazelight fork of course)

Gonna attempt to use Visual Studio Code for everything including engine/C++ instead of full blown Visual Studio, should probably be just fine... probably.
