-	Multi-sourced or lone wolf? Are other sites sharing this, and what sources do they cite?

-	Ask experts. Consult a librarian, an archivist, a fact-checking site, or a primary source.

-	Beware of clickbait. Are headlines sensational to attract clicks? Are you getting the complete story?

-	Adjust your lens. Consider the impact of your bias, perspective, or concerns on your point of view.
