Been working on a monster to replace the placeholder enemies in #Gryptic for the next patch. Haven’t finished drawing the legs yet so you can see some of the under-sketch still. These will be shambling around in the first few floors of the dungeon.

Starting to work on spawning decor and encounters in the proc gen system now. I may even make a pass at replacing the placeholder enemy with something a little less goofy. Either way the next private prototype update will be a major leap forward for #Gryptic

Been working on some visual changes and experimenting with assets packs in Gryptic since my last stream. Between changing how the resolution works, and adding some ps1-inspired post-processing, I've got it looking nice and crunchy now.

To test the healing behavior in Gryptic (and to test other future things) I put together a really simple button, that when shoved by the player, applies healing. Essential to counteract the Bad Sword.

Been working on some more prototype HUD elements for Gryptic. To help test the health bar behavior I needed to add a way to deal damage to yourself: the bad sword. I just made a placeholder sword sprite that you hold by the blade. The bad sword hurts you.
