Encroaching Night
Quick Tech, 1/round
Make a tech attack against a hostile character within SENSORS. On a success, they take 2l and become Plagued by Darkness. A Plagued character can't communicate with its allies, can’t reveal HIDDEN characters, and is surrounded by a d2 zone of hallucinatory gloom that moves with them. The Plagued character can’t draw line of sight to spaces outside of the zone other than ones you occupy, which it can always see, regardless of terrain or obstruction.
The zone also provides soft cover to you and your allies. If you start your turn HIDDEN, you may teleport to any space within the zone of gloom as a protocol.
This effect lasts until you take structure damage or stress, until you use it on another character, or until the afflicted character makes a successful SYSTEMS save as a quick action.
