The latest addition to my On30 fleet. I've always liked the EMD SW9, it's one of my favourite diesels. So I built this from a Proto 2000 SW9, the cab from an older project and a scratchbuilt footplate.
It's got DCC, sound and a keepalive on board.

There are three cabooses on the Bradford Valley Lumber Co RR. Only no. 74 retained the original handrails, as they were laser-cut from wood and fragile.
I recently replaced the handrails on the other two with some made from copper wire bent into shape. These photos show how.

I bought these two standard-gauge boxcars when I first got into On30. Wanted to have them on the layout, but I only recently figured out where. By widening the staging tracks on one end and adding scenery, I managed to fit an interchange. Weathered the boxcars and put them on last weekend.

Made and Imported in 2002 this Key Imports K-5b is the crown jewel of my collection. Here it eases its 7 car passenger train out of the station on a grade, the bark of the exhaust letting everyone around know it’s no small task.
