#Tesla is #RoboCar on the cheap. A billionaire too cheap to buy LIDAR that every other autonomous car maker uses and over hypes his "Autopilot" despite it being only Level 2 autonomy (driver has to be at the wheel and paying attention to take over at a moment's notice) & having numerous crashes.

Yeah, highways tend to involve much higher speeds, although, aside from two lane, two way highways, you don't face oncoming or cross traffic, kids suddenly running onto the road, there are no sudden stops, etc.
