I mean USL2 will probably be close to a hundred and seventy clubs by season start. Let them be the summer collegiate league.
The role that #tLfC is looking to fill is one that is desperately needed.

If the teams in this new #tLfC league offer a stipend to the players, which might be small amounts of money, then it doesn't need to be "professional contracts" and should be able to avoid PLS, while still being a viable stepping stone between fully amateur and fully professional.

Let's talk about #TLfC new announcement quick.
At my son's hockey tournament this weekend I met another dad, from Calgary, that plays for a semi-pro hockey team in Colorado on the weekends.
Works through the week, and then the team flies him down.
The CHL (WHL, OHL, and QMJHL) are all semi-pro.

I saw a video of Vermont Green winning, and I felt a little bit of happiness mixed in with the sadness of turning my back on nearly everything American.
I was incredibly excited about the #TLFC season, but the US is threatening our sovereignty and telling us they "don't need anything from us."

The League for Clubs is combining what NISA and NISA Nation wanted to be, but successfully.
They aren't a competitor with NPSL, which is what seemed more likely, but have already moved past that.
I think US soccer finally has a legitimate Div. IV.

Straight up; Bay Valley's current kit in @theleaguefc.bsky.social is something I would just wear despite having no history or emotional attachment to the club.

I swear my luck is terrible for this.
The only match that had a stream was the one that interested me the least.

I think tier IV should be in the works.
If regional leagues continue to join #tLfC and it expands past a hundred teams, that is an option.
Another option is USL2 has over a hundred-fifty teams, a few teams get over a 2,000 fans. Create a league with those clubs.

I like that #tLfC has revived some clubs at this level.
It can be disheartening watching clubs and academies fold their highest level team, but if folded isn't forever, then that is a major positive.
"Folded isn't forever" sounds like an emo band name from 2004.

The last time the #NPSL had these few teams was over twelve years ago.
I am almost surprised that #tLfC didn't get the same number of teams, but if the NPSL hadn't added those thirteen clubs, it would be very close.

#USL2 and #tLfC both have added new teams this week, but in both cases, they are new at this level of play but have strong youth programmes.
Club movement from adult league to adult league is absolutely silent right now.

I have noticed numerous inconsistencies with #tLfC season length.
It is Schrodinger's season.
Is it the normal three month schedule?
Is it a longer season?
At least one club is giving me hope of a longer season.
