Screenshot of a query demonstrating the use of Google to investigate suspicious items. In this case. I copied and pasted the term “professional domain name registration“ from a suspicious email, together with the word scam. I quickly received confirmation of my suspicion that this was in fact a scam email.
Another example of googling a suspicious thing along with the word fraud or scam. You can use this trick to evaluate the trustworthiness of emails, texts, websites, and even people.
