Of the dozens of medical kdramas I watched this year, this one was the one that infused the most tension into the medical emergencies. It’s no coincidence the characters are constantly running. And at the same time, this one found the most humor in these life-or-death moments. 9/10

From what I’ve heard from others, kdramas have been a bit mixed this year, but there have still been some great surprises (eg #StudyGroup & #TraumaCode popped out of nowhere), & some well received shows I have yet to see (eg #WayBackLove)

Day 22: deserves the hype #EYDC2025

I think the most hyped (*cough* Zanghai *cough*) dramas disappointed me this year but #TraumaCode lived up to the high-octane hype. It was a very fun ride

A drama that taught you something new.

#EYDC2025 Day 10: Rewatched #TraumaCode almost immediately. In the middle of rewatching #Vincenzo and #TaxiDriver.

And I’m never not watching #IntoTheRing and. #TaleOfLadyOk. I am always dipping in for a favorite scene or episode. Might be due for a wall-to-wall rewatch of Into the Ring soon.

Day 3: For favorite actor discovered in 2025, I chose Choo Young-woo. I watched him in back-to-back #kdrama this year and for a while, it felt like he was everywhere! I liked him in #TraumaCode but it was in his dual role in the fusion sageuk #TheTaleofLadyOk that he really stood out, IMO. #EYDC2025

#EYDC2025 Day 3: Favorite actor discovered - Choo Young Woo by a mile. He did 4 new #kdramas this year, playing 6 different characters (bc he had dual roles in 2 of those). He stole every scene he was in. And now, I will watch him in anything.

Fav actress discovered this year is Shin Ha Young from #TraumaCode. She definitely held her own with the chaotic boys.

For kdramas there are domdd we really good recent ones you could check out

#DynamiteKiss is still airing, but it’s very popular so far, & very escapist lol

#TraumaCode is a fun medical team drama which aired earlier this year, & #LoveScout is an office romance which reverses the gender trope

For sure, it doesn’t have the same degree of excitingly OTT drama as medical dramas like #TraumaCode & #DrRomantic (seasons 1 & 2), but what you say of HP is my response to #ResidentPlaybook:

“It is a show that takes its time to show you the characters; by the end I felt they’re real & missed them”
