We're back up and running after lunch - after David Rand's talk on the neural tube (which I forgot to get a photo for, sorry) we're now hearing about Weini Huang's work on ecDNA #UKMathBio

Our final talk of the morning at #UKMathBio is from Nikolaos Sfakianakis, who presents some very cool (and slightly gruesome) modelling of a hybrid 3D framework to describe tumour metastasis

First up at #UKMathBio is Tiina Roose, who makes a great case that maths can be central to every stage of experimental data collection, particularly imaging! #MathBio shouldn't just be an endpoint where we take fully processed experiments and model them completely separately from everything else

On a train full of mathematical biologists heading to #UKMathBio!

Excitingly we're about to pass through Birmingham Int station, one of the few mainline UK stations which has to be explicitly type cast so that it isn't mistaken for a floating point

I think this is the way to go - plus it saves a letter on the hashtag, which could be pretty vital if there are some long talk title names #UKMathBio

Looking forward to heading to Birmingham tomorrow where I think the big question of the UK Mathematical Biology conference will be answered...

...is it #UKMathBio or #UKMathsBio? The anglophile side of me feels like it should have an s, but it just doesn't match up with anything else! 😅
