Updated the prototype to the proper breaker box 3D model and set up the functionality so now when the Caretaker breaks the box it will change the material from 'normal' to 'broken' which shows some scorch marks and an indent where the axe will cut the wires.

An #UnrealEngine5 performance test. This time, with Lumen, Nanite, and Virtual Shadow Maps off, the RHI target set to DirectX11 and instead of the Sky Atmosphere, we’re using the Skybox Blueprint from UE4. As you can see, it pushes 80 FPS unlocked. #gamedev #indiedev

A simple disintegration effect using only a material and no particles.
By combining alpha erosion with a noise mask and world position offset, you can push the effect further. Here the vertices rotate along their normals while the mesh erodes away.
