This is 2010 thinking and misselling.
Automotive is a but tiny, tiny part of the mobility #valuechain.
And US corporations to off-shore production, helping other countries to move UP the #ValueChain Trump’s irrational re-shoring production means taking the US DOWN the value chain & damaging the economies of many others. It isn’t so much trade that’s imbalanced, as Trump’s understanding of economics.
