An abandoned factory hall. Dust and some debris on the floor, the rear of the hall is dimly lit by a skylight on the upper left, and there are hundreds of tiny holes in the roof. On the right is a large opening from what may have been a sliding door. Very bright sunlight comes in, in crepuscular rays caused by the dust in the air having been kicked up by the photographer. In the sunlight, an empty chair is facing the sun.

This is an abandoned factory hall in Zeebrugge, Belgium, so it also wraps up my #abandoned theme.
It might have fitted the Lights&Shadows theme, but it was taken 22 years ago.

The interior of a Citroën CX Pallas. Everything except a few minor parts is in shades of brown. The dashboard looks like something out of an eighties SF movie. Everything is not where you would expect it to be. The sphere above the radio is the ashtray. The ignition switch is on the LEFT of the steering column.

A pretty dramatic, contrasty black&white photo of a chessboard showing an end game. The board is photographed from directly overhead, making it hard to recognise the pieces, but it's lit from the right behind the camera with a small light source, which throws the shadow of the piece over the board. For the chess lovers among us, I put a challenge in the first comment.
For the #AlphabetTechChallenge for #WeekIforInterior, I waited for the sun that was promised to appear, to show how it would throw shades through my window covering.
The sun failed to show up.
So I decided to do something else.

When I had my sunrise walk yesterday this house was just as I would expect it to be, and I saw the owner drive away. Yesterday afternoon it was "giftwrapped"!
