This past fall I took 8 small #cuttings from my #heartleaf #philodendron & #goldenpothos to #propagate. After a recent look, I realized how #rootbound many had gotten. So I #repotted & combined 3 Heartleafs (left) & 3 Goldens (right) in new pots. They really needed the repot! #houseplants #plantcare

She's a great looking #hoseplant! It looks like you might be able to take some of what you remove and #propagate them. Make sure you affix her up close to the #mosspole so it can root into it. I like using Velcro strips. They're easy to use and don't cut into the #plant.

This was one very large paddle plant I divided up from the pups and cuttings.
These roots developed in just a week.
All the growth coming out of the base of a large & long stock that I broke apart. The brown on top of the stock is cinnamon.

She gorgeous. Sometimes that "reaching out" kind of growth can be them wanting more sunlight. #pruning can help make for a fuller plant & you can #propagate what you cut. When you report, I like to use a chopstick to loosen the #roots. She'll also like a well draining mix.

View of coffee table, couch, and large picture window. Filling the window is a very large rubber plant, growing from the far left all the way across the window, supported by a rope. On the coffee table there are five rubber plant stems with large leaves, which are in pots. The leaves of the rubber plant are rolled up, waxy side out, held with loose rubber bands. This is apparently to conserve moisture. They will be covered with a plastic bag and misted daily.

Mission accomplished. I gently removed the stem, babies, & roots. I pre-moistened the organic potting soil, I made a long deep tunnel for the roots, & carefully laid the mother stem across the soil to allow the new baby petal leaves to breathe air for the first time. 🌿💜

First time propagating Thuja last summer. They have more than doubled in size & have new growth at the bases. The plan is to grow Thuja on the fence lines that have enough sun to support their growth. The raised bed behind is strawberries (I have 3 of them.) 🌱🍓

I love potted boxwoods. They are so easy to propagate, too. Just find a newish sprig, cut about 5", take off the lower half of leaves, put in potting soil, keep moist and wait. You'll have a new plant in no time. Reminds me to pot up a bunch today. 🌱

I have tons of rosemary in my garden. I love it. And it's so easy to propagate. Just clip 4-5" of new growth, strip the bottom 2" of the stem, and plant it. It will grow. And voila, new plants. 🌱😀

There are some #Plants I overwinter in the house. I have 4 geraniums and only 1 bloomed throughout the winter. FYI, it super easy to #Propagate geraniums. The blue pot has been a mother plant for three years.
