A shot of the roll-cloud after it had passed over and continued north towards the CBD, still maintaining its shape and speed. Quite stunning.

Here's a single shot, showing true perspective. At this stage the wind suddenly started to pick up, from nowhere, and as the cloud passed low overhead it was very windy, trees tossing and leaves blowing, quite sudden.

The roll cloud not far from passing overhead. The cloud is actually linear, the distortion is due to panorama stitching of wide-angle shots.

By this stage it was obvious this wasn't an ordinary cloud at all. It was moving fast, it was a long, linear cylinder, and the sky was otherwise fairly cloudless. Here's another stitched panorama, slightly distorted.

A roll-cloud approaching. The cloud appears bent, during to panorama and wide-angle distortion, but it's actually quite straight, as can be seen in other single shots. Lightroom couldn't manage a perspective projection.
