Canceled vs. cancelled. It is small. Murder hornets are small. I write in a domain where "cancel" is a common verb & object state. Our code, APIs, & UIs are full of "cancel". Those murder hornets are constantly popping up. #technicalWriting #techWriterLife #writeTheDocs

Just back from a wonderful, amazing, intense #WriteTheDocs Berlin conference, back in-person (actually, hybrid) in Europe after six virtual years.
Even better: I was one of the MC’s, which is (for me) way too much fun to be allowed.
It felt like coming home. It was coming home.
I gave my first lightning talk ⚡💬 at WTD Berlin 2025 ✨
I stayed within my 5 minutes, didn't sweat too much or fart loudly or throw up on stage, and talked about a classic, evergreen combo: technical writing and metal guitar solo recording 📝 🎸🤘
