The railroad crossbuck stands alone against an open horizon, its blunt command softened by the sun bursting through its center. Light fractures into sharp rays, turning warning into benediction, instruction into pause. Power lines march away toward distant silos, and the tracks run forward without urgency, as if time itself has slowed to consider the crossing. In black and white, the image balances motion and restraint—a moment where speed is asked to yield, and even progress must briefly stop to let the light pass through.
