As said:
#Pricecap and #Oilembargo against #Russia are dead for now
#Europe needs to change approach:
- set up #Skyshield to help defend Ukraine sky and learn it
- 3x invest into mid and long range strike capabilities like Flamingo, etc
- 5x invest into missile&drone defense
- release frozen assets
@lbc.co.uk Why would UK tax payers bail out poor people, who cannot pay the price gauging profiteering oil and petrol prices!
Why cant the govt limit the price rises, and #WindfallTax any company refusing to limit their price rises?
A real #PriceCap not the #FakeEnergyPriceCap
As #Russia wins the #Iran war (and US looses it)…
… Europe needs to urgently redesign its energy policy. #Pricecap is dead, today.
Cutting of Russia from global market will be impossible
What are the alternatives?
@gzachmann.bsky.social
@tagliapietra.bsky.social
@robin-j-brooks.bsky.social
#Russia is already benefiting from #Iran war as increased #oil \ #urals prices show.
#EU needs a plan to address this!
@ec.europa.eu
Either take tankers directly or set up #tariffs to leverage windfall profits and fuel them to #Ukr
#pricecap is dead

E.ON Next is doubling what customers can save through its Next Pledge tariff⚡
This means households can save £100 vs. the new #pricecap, with prices that stay below the cap each quarter. Transparency and stability during uncertain times.

Our Head of Wales @bensaltmarsh.bsky.social on ITV Wales discussing the latest energy #PriceCap. Many remain living in cold, damp homes, carrying significant debt just from trying to stay warm and keep the lights on. ‘A modest fall in energy bills - while welcome - isn't going to fix that.’
‘Those on the lowest incomes in the leakiest homes will face deep debt and will still struggle to stay warm and well at home’. Our Director of Policy Peter Smith responds to the energy #PriceCap fall in @theguardian.com. www.theguardian.com/money/2026/f...
The energy #PriceCap is falling April, but bills still remain too high for people like our client Daniel. He tells @bigissue.com how he is particularly susceptible to the cold due to his serious health conditions. www.bigissue.com/news/social-...
This must be the start of real reform to bring bills down for good, not the moment government declares the crisis over.

We responded to the energy #PriceCap announcement and published stark polling about households in Wales, joined with Skipton Building Society and Age UK to build an ice sculpture in London, and spoke at Energy Action Scotland's Annual Conference.

#EUKExplains #PriceCap
#BritishGas makes around £300m operating profit a year.
The #PriceCap is going up.
2m households are expected to go without central heating in the UK this winter.
Who are #Ofgem and this Gov working for? Not us for sure.
Another privatisation fail. Renationalise without compensation.
Don't be ridiculous, #Ofgem.
There is *absolutely no justification or point* in increasing January's #PriceCap by £3 (equivalent to 28p extra a month for an average household) when wholesale energy prices have *dropped 4%* over the last 3 months.

Ofgem just announced that the #pricecap will increase from 1 January 2026. The best way to avoid this is by fixing your tariff - shop around on switching sites to find the best deal for you.
