Smitten with the mainframe badges at the Computer History Museum when I went to #VCFWest this year, I had to make my own sticker replicas. Now I’m the only person in this coffee shop working on a UNIVAC.

The (then) Windows 98 machine in a locally hosted AIM chatroom with the neighboring exhibit. It was a blast.
A Surface Go 2 playing Microsoft commercials on a loop with some fun old videos thrown in, in this case the one where some guys put firecrackers on motherboards and blow them up.

Among all the amazing retrotech I saw at #vcfwest, there were a few 1980s Polish home computers. I noticed that one of them, the Cobra 1, only had an article in Polish Wikipedia, so I used it as the basis of a new article in English Wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cobra_1

The problem with the day after #vcfwest is I so, so badly want to make a "sim racing evolution" exhibit because I have three different wheel setups in storage and my current setup but I do NOT have the space to build three more setups. Especially a DOS era one.
